Planting has taken place in the school garden. Junior Infants planted lettuce, Senior Infants planted turnips, 1st Class planted peas, 2nd Class planted onions, 3rd Class planted carrots, 4th class planted courgettes and 5th/6th class planted potatoes, red onions and also foxglove, field scabious, primrose and madame butterfly in the wildflower area. We are all excited to harvest and taste our crops! 6th Class pupils are responsible for wedding and watering the beds regularly.
