We had a busy day in the school garden yesterday. Ms. Jennings 5th and 6th class teamed up with Ms. O’Neill’s Junior Infants and got to work! We weeded all 8 raised beds and watered them to get them ready for planting. Then Ms. Jennings’ class planted spring onions and Ms. O’Neill’s class planted radishes. Senior Infants will be planting salad leaves, 1st Class will be planting lettuce, 2nd class will plant peas, 3rd/4th will plant mange tout and 4th/5th will plant beetroot. We are looking forward to harvesting our delicious vegetables!
