Fifth Class 2022
Fifth Class have been keeping busy this year with plenty of activities.
Sports Day 2022
Last Friday we held our annual sports day in Walterstown NS. We were blessed with sunny weather and the children spent the day outside enjoying a range of activities.
Flag Day 2022
Walterstown NS held “Flag Day” yesterday to celebrate the awarding of three flags that we successfully earned this year. Our school was very proud of this huge achievement!
WNS were awarded the:
- Green Flag
- Active Flag
- Amber Flag
Le Chéile Nature Walk
The Le Chéile classes and some friends went on a nature walk yesterday. We saw lovely trees, plants, flowers and even some cows. The boys and girls did very well.
Purple Room
The purple class have been very busy this term. They have been reading and sequencing different stories.
Our Garden Project
The Walterstown NS Garden Project took root in our school motto Ar Aghaidh le Chéile. The seeds of inspiration were sown throughout the winter months with gardeners of all ages and abilities coming together to expand their knowledge and to share their skills.
