Our school community embraced the theme with events such as Crazy Hair Day and Anything But A Bag Day. We also welcomed a parent to the school who facilitated a pottery workshop with the pupils in Le Chéile.
Children got involved in a project creating “Story Stones”. They collected stones from nature and used acrylic paints to transform them into unique pieces of art that reflect their personalities and ideas! These stones were then carefully arranged along the entrance to our beautiful outdoor space.
We also held a photography competition. Each child was invited to submit a creative photo of themselves. We were blown away by the huge number of photos brought into school and have displayed them in the halla where they can be enjoyed by everyone.
This year marks our fourth year participating in the Creative Schools Initiative, an experience which continues to inspire our school community each year and showcases the confidence, imagination and creativity of our pupils!
This Christmas, My Canine Companion has partnered with The Everyman to promote their access performances of Cinderella, ensuring that everyone can experience the magic of the Panto.
