Fifth Class
We went to a rugby blitz in Cobh Pirates. We did impressionist paintings. We taught second class how to play tag rugby. We made maths board games and have been playing them with other classes. We had a great time on our school tour!

Fourth Class held their annual Cake Sale just before Easter and all the pupils got to purchase some delicious treats!
Cork County Final
Congratulations to our girls who played in the Cork County Final of the FAI 5s Primary Competition. The girls won their group and also their semi and did Walterstown National School proud. Well done everyone!
Easter Egg Hunt
A big thank you to the PA who organised an Easter egg hunt for the boys and girls in Walterstown National School. The pupils really enjoyed following the clues and collecting the eggs!
Aqua Class
The Aqua Class have been very busy this term. They have really enjoyed their Friday baking sessions – most recently they made lovely scones.
The children have been doing lots of fun art based on the theme Easter. They have made bunny and chick masks, cards for their families and baskets to collect Easter eggs. They also have been doing lots of work revising their tricky words and focusing on “sh”, “ch” and “th” in their phonics.
