Huge congratulations to our girls’ football team who won their final against Bartlemy in Páirc Uí Chaoimh! What an amazing achievement! Walterstown Abú!

Introducing the newest member of staff in Walterstown NS! We welcomed Fleur to school on Monday morning. Fleur is a service dog from My Canine Companion. My Canine Companion is Ireland’s largest service dog provider and Fleur is a school therapy dog. MCC developed Ireland’s first school therapy dog programme. Schools have reported a significant improvement in areas of wellbeing, mental health, anxiety, absenteeism and staff and student morale since the introduction of a MCC school therapy dog. We have no doubt that Fleur will bring so much love and support to our wonderful school.

Good luck to all of our athletes from 1st – 6th Class who are competing in the Cross Country Challenge at Fota House today!
